The one of a kind character of NYC is not the product of a single neighborhood or area. Just like a great meal is a combination of different ingredients to create one final amazing dish, Manhattan is unique from everywhere else on the planet because of all its neighborhoods combined. The people, the food, the culture etc.. each neighbor has its own personality and all together they make up the great Island of Manhattan. This "big apple" design is created out of the great neighborhoods of Manhattan.
There is no doubt that Japanese lettering are works of art. The sleek letters are desgins all on their own. We decided to create the Japanese lettering for the word Tokyo out of the english word Tokyo. The end result is this beautiful tribute to one of the worlds greatest cities.
